Axolotl report

Axolotl
Appearance
An Axolotl is grey or white in colour or white in colour with black eyes. The colour of an Axolotl depends on its cells. Axolotls can grow up to 30cm in length and weigh from 60 to 227 grams. The Axolotl ages but it remains in larvae form for its entire life.The scientific name for an mexican Axolotl  Ambystoma mexicanum.
diet
Axolotls eat worms, insects, small fish, and just about anything else that can fit inside their mouth and swallow whole, including other salamanders.
In the lab axolotls are fed brine shrimp California blackworms (Lumbriculus variegatus), and salmon pellets.  Terrestrial salamanders are fed crickets, worms, and beef liver.
predators
The introduction of large numbers of carp and tilapia fish which compete with axolotl for food and also eat Axolotl eggs,has further lowed their population.
Behaviour
The Axolotl is dangerous if you go near their eggs mother axolotls are very protective
